About the Volkswagen Crafter and its keys
Earlier Crafters were closely related to the Mercedes Sprinter, while later versions were developed by Volkswagen itself. That split means the key situation can be quite different depending on your Crafter's year — another reason we always ask for the registration.
Lost Volkswagen Crafter keys
With a lost Crafter key, we will need the registration, year and where the van is. We will check whether it is a vehicle we can produce a key for before arranging anything.

Crafter ignition problems
Where a Crafter uses a turn key, a key that catches or will not turn can be caused by a worn or damaged key blade or wear inside the mechanical ignition barrel. If the key turns but the starter or electrics do not respond, the ignition switch is one possible cause, alongside battery and wiring faults. We diagnose first.
