Fiat vans we cover
Send the registration so we can confirm the ignition fitted to your specific van.
About Fiat ignitions
The Ducato is the base for many motorhomes as well as panel vans. The ignition belongs to the base vehicle regardless of what has been built on top.
For smaller Fiorino and Doblò vans, if the ignition is sticking, loose or has a broken key inside, send the registration and a short description to get started.
Ignition options for Fiat vans
- Mechanical ignition barrel repair or replacement — For vans with a key-turn ignition where the barrel is worn, sticking, seized or damaged.
- Electrical ignition switch replacement — The switch behind the barrel can fail on its own — the key turns but the electrical side does not respond properly.
- Electronic ignition (EIS) work — For vans that use an electronic ignition unit rather than a purely mechanical barrel, including some push-button systems.
- Broken key extraction from the ignition — Removing a snapped blade from the ignition without causing further damage, before a new key is made.
Whether your original key can be kept depends on the van and the fault — we try to keep it wherever possible. If a new key or programming is needed, we will tell you before starting.

Fiat ignition questions
My Ducato is a motorhome — can you come to it?
Yes, where the vehicle and job are suitable for mobile work. We attend Ducato-based motorhomes at home or on site and confirm this before arranging a visit. Habitation door locks are separate from the ignition.
The Fiorino ignition feels loose — is that dangerous?
A loose or wobbling ignition should be checked, as it can get worse and leave you unable to start or remove the key.
